Yvonne Todd
Biography
Drawing since she could hold a pencil, Yvonne's passion for animals has led to numerous commissions, solo exhibits and juried exhibits across the country. Believing that drawing is the basis of all good art, Yvonne draws her horses and neighbors cows constantly as well as attending life drawing sessions with Andre Pater.
Following a career in advertising design, Yvonne now spends full time in front of an easel. She has been included in many national juried exhibits, has illustrationed fences for the Kentucky Three Day event for 40 years and has also enjoyed portrait commission work of many dogs and horses. Her favorite mediums of oil, scratchboard and graphite provide technical variety.
Constant inspiration comes from living on a farm with 10 horses, 2 dogs, a cat, and a tolerant husband.
